Elections

The City of Annandale administers city, county, state, and federal elections for residents who live within City limits.  All city residents vote at City Hall, 30 Cedar Street E in Annandale.  

2026 Elections

The 2026 State Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, August 11. The primary election requires you to vote within one political party.

The 2026 General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3.  This is the election where voting for City Council candidates takes place as well as voting for state and federal offices.

Important 2026 Primary Election Dates

• June 26
  Absentee voting begins for Primary Election (in person at Wright County Government Center or by mail)
   
• July 21
  Last day to pre-register to vote for Primary Election
   
• August 10
  Last day of absentee voting for Primary (in person at Wright County Government Center)
   
• August 11
  Primary Election Day (7 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
   
• September 18
  Absentee voting begins for General Election (in person at Wright County Government Center or by mail)
   
• October 13
  Last day to pre-register to vote for General Election
   
• November 3
  General Election Day (7 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
