City ordinance requires individual massage therapists be licensed.
Applications are due annually on January 1st. There is no cost to the license, however a one-time $35 background check is required. Background check fees are applied to new applicants only, and will not be assessed on renewals, unless necessary. All new applications are forward to the City Council for approval.
